Written by Katharine Orton
Hi everyone!
My book review today is on Katharine Orton’s fiction-fantasy tale Nevertell. This story starts out in a prison camp in the frozen Siberian tundra. And while Nevertell is a magical and fictional tale, the setting is based on real-life Soviet forced labour camps (Gulags). The story is so well told that you feel like you’re right there with Lina and Bogdan as they make their escape, criss-crossing the icy, menacing wastelands of Siberia, hotly pursued by a powerful sorceress and her shadow wolves. Totally breathtaking!
I loved this book so much that it is currently one of my Top Ten reads! Why not check out my Top Ten video to discover Nevertell’s ranking?!
