My book review today is on the book I read for World Book Day 2021, which I said I’d review here when I was done. So here it is – An Unsung Hero by Michael Smith. This book follows the life of Antarctic explorer and Irishman, Tom Crean. Perhaps an unlikely book for a young reader, but if you’re into history, it makes for fascinating reading. Learning about his many expeditions and, in particular, his incredibly heroic march across the ice was exciting. He was one remarkable man. Enjoy!
